Our Nursery Team
Our nursery manager, Gemma Blake, has worked in childcare for over 15 years. Gemma ensures that her parents feel relaxed and confident in the knowledge that their child is being cared for by our dedicated staff team in a safe environment. Our Deputy Manager, Joy Simpson, supports Gemma in ensuring our nursery provides stimulating learning environments for children to develop and thrive.
“Since starting in September my daughter has grown so much in confidence & independence. The staff are so friendly and welcoming that she is so happy to go in first thing in the morning. As a parent, it is always nice to know what your child does throughout the day & the staff do this so well. I am extremely happy with the care provided and I will look forward to my daughter moving into the toddler room very shortly.”
“My 3-year son has attended the wrap around care offered by Holyrood since September, the staff are fantastic going out of their way to help him settle in and getting to know him so well that they understand what makes him happy and what triggers him to be upset. Their high level of communication means that as a parent I am fully informed daily about my child's progress and routine. The attention to detail from the staff ensures the best quality care and for this reason, I wouldn't choose anywhere else for my child.”
“I absolutely love Holyrood Day Nursery Haydock. The staff there (especially in toddler room) have bought my little girl out of her shell so much. When she started, she wasn't speaking a single word and the change in her is fantastic. Her vocabulary and her confidence have grown so much and it's all down to the fab staff there. I can not thank you all enough.”
