Our Rooms

Nursery Playrooms

Our Nursery Playrooms cater for children from 0 months - 5 years of age. We have our Baby Room (0-2 years), our Toddler Room (2-3 years), and our Preschool Room (3-5 years). We also benefit from an extensive outdoor area.

We offer FREE Settling in Sessions to ensure both you and your child are ready to start nursery. Each transition from one room to the next will always be discussed with you in advance. We understand every child is unique and we will ensure they progress through our playrooms at a time that is right for them.

Our Staff:Child Ratio; 0-2'S (1:3), 2-3's (1:4), 3-5's (1:8). *Minimum number in accordance with current Ofsted regulations. Where possible these will be lower.

Outdoor Play

We love to get outside at Holyrood where we have a large outdoor area divided into age appropriate gardens. Our children make full use of their outdoor area as well as regular trips out in their local community.  To keep up to date with our recent adventures, follow us on Facebook for more regular updates.

Holiday Club at Holyrood Nursery Haydock

Our Holiday Club are based within the nursery and care for children from 3-11 years of age. Holiday Club runs in conjunction with school holidays at Legh Vale Primary School.

There are a choice of console games to play (Wii, Xbox, Playstation, Arcade console or Laptop) and children have access to the outdoor area which is located in the grounds of Legh Vale where they football, rounders, cricket, running races or parachute games plus many more.

We encourage outdoor activities, arts and crafts, baking, quiz nights and cinema nights.

The children also have access to a variety of messy activities including painting and junk modelling. We visit the local Sankey Valley park and go on nature trails with the rangers, and often invite our local police and fire brigade to visit us. We host talent shows and events themed around the seasons, and always encourage the children to plan and direct their own activities.
